How do I use it?

  1. 1Type your name in the box.
  2. 2Pick a group or scroll through all styles.
  3. 3Tap Copy and paste the style into your game or profile.

How to choose a gaming name style

Use the Frames or Gaming styles with normal letters if you want friends to find you by search. Use Fonts styles, like bold or script, when the look matters more than search.

Short names work best. Many games limit names to about 12 to 16 characters, and each symbol counts as at least one character. If a game says the name is too long, pick a style with a smaller frame.

Styles that work in most apps

Bold, italic, small caps and the 【 】 or 『 』 frames are widely supported. Runes, butterfly and some combining styles may look broken on older phones.

Frequently asked questions

What symbols are popular in gaming names?

Popular gaming name symbols include ꧁ ꧂, ★, 『 』, 【 】, ☠, ⚔ and ▄︻デ══━一. They frame your name and make it stand out on a scoreboard or profile.

How do I make a cool name with symbols?

Type your name in the box. You will see it in 212 styles made of symbols and fancy letters. Tap Copy next to the style you like and paste it into your profile.

Can other players search for my styled name?

Sometimes not. Fancy letters are different characters from normal letters, so friends may need to copy your exact name to find you.

Do these name styles work in every game?

Not always. Each game has its own name rules and allowed characters. If a style is rejected, try a shorter one or a style from the Frames group, which keeps normal letters. Always follow the game's rules.

What are fancy fonts made of?

They are not real fonts. They are Unicode letter variants, such as bold or script letters, that look like a font in any app that supports them.

Is my name sent anywhere?

No. The styles are made in your browser. The name you type is not sent to a server.
